~ Goals ~
Sometimes the things which seem unattainable appear that way because we only see the end result and we do not see the path to get there. If you see a high mountain top in the distance and think "I could never get way up there...", perhaps it's because you did not look closer to see the winding trail leading to the top.

When you plan for tomorrow, you put today in perspective. The important things will come to the forefront. When you plan for tomorrow, you create hope for today...

Assume not what is negative. Always assume what you want to happen in your life...assume the positive, assume your wishes, assume your dreams...assume it will happen.

Commitment is joyfully doing what you otherwise would not be doing or enjoying if you had not dreamed of your destination or goal...

When confronting a goal you want to achieve, instead of asking "Can I do this?", ask yourself "It's not a question of CAN I do this, but HOW will I do this?" Then if it's really important say "I MUST do it!" Then do it!

Can you recall when you have done something good that was beyond what you thought you could do? Do you remember how that felt? We often amaze ourselves when we go beyond our self-imposed limiting beliefs. There seems to be a wide gap between what we think our limits are and what our true capability is. Go out and amaze yourself today!

A wise man once said to a young skeptic: "You can do anything you want to do...whatever you want to become, you can with practice, patience, perseverance, and commitment." To which the young skeptic replied, "I don't see millions of happy and successful people. It's not that easy. If that were true, then ANYONE could achieve the success, greatness, and happiness they would like. Why wouldn't everyone do that?" The old man smiled and nodded, "Precisely..."

The difference between where you want to go in life and where you are now is potential. The vehicle to get you from here to there is action. The fuel to power the vehicle is desire. Start your journey TODAY!

If you have to reach your goal by sacrificing, scraping, enduring hardships, fending off criticism, and dealing with other obstacles, you are much better off than if you had arrived there without effort. The difficulty of the journey builds character and endurance like exercise and adds value to the goal you reach...

There is an old saying: "Be careful what you wish for, you might get it." Let's re-state it: Be careful what you don't try for and what you don't take action on...
you probably won't get it.

Choosing goals that are great and exciting come with built-in motivation. If you feel stuck or unmotivated about life, perhaps changing goals to greater and more exciting ones will help ignite the passion, desire, and power within...

The three most common mistakes made that prevent one from achieving their goals:
1. Not taking action on ideas and opportunities...
2. Not taking action on ideas and opportunities...
3. Not taking action on ideas and opportunities...
And one more common mistake: Not taking action on ideas and opportunities...

You may find that your actual long-term needs differ from your short-term wants... Discover first what your true needs are... and then go after those.

How many ways can you make things happen to get you where you want to go in life? How many actions can you take to accomplish your goals? The more ways you can think to try to reach your goals, the more actions you can take to get there. And the more approaches you try the more likely you are to succeed. If you "fail" at one approach, re-group and remember that there are always alternatives... the approach that works may very well be the next one.

To maximize your potential you must share it with others... To maximize your success you must share it with others... To maximize who you are you must share who you really are with others...

There is always enough time to do the positive things you really want to do... There doesn't need to be time for the senseless and negative things you don't want to do... Take the time away from the negative things and give it to the positive things, and there will be enough time...

Sometimes it is necessary to stop learning about strategies and success theories and start taking action. Many times one can get so caught up in seeking answers that it prevents them from acting on the answers they already have. Decide on a sound action plan and act on it. It's kind of like having more than one clock...A person with one clock knows what time it is, but a person with many clocks may not be sure of the correct time.

The burned out forest has the capability to grow and flourish again. The tree that is fruitless now has the capability to flower or bear fruit. The person who lays depressed and hopeless now has the capability to do great things.
Events that happen in life do not diminish one's capability or future possibility, rather these events only change their perception of what they think they can do...

The As If of life-
Act as if you have what it takes to reach your goals and fulfill your dreams... Act as if you have succeeded in your life's ambitions... Act as if you are who you want to be... Act as if and you will be...

The importance of a test is not how well one does with it, but how hard it made you work...

Start each week with excitement and anticipation about what will be...
Start each day with excitement and anticipation about what will be...
Start each hour with excitement and anticipation about what will be...
When you start each moment with excitement and anticipation of the good that will be,
then you set yourself up for success...

The most important thing is not how wealthy or how poor you are now... what is important is that you are trying to improve and move up the ladder of life. If you keep trying you will succeed. How long do you try? Until you succeed.
