~ Problems and Obstacles ~
If someone has a problem they can solve, that is not a problem, that is an opportunity... If someone has a problem they cannot solve, that is an even greater opportunity.

It is better to be financially struggling and have a vision than it is to be financially wealthy and have no vision or sense of contribution. For it is better to be slowly progressing toward your goal or vision than it is to be going nowhere fast.

By spending time to be thankful for what you do have, that leaves less time to be depressed about what you don't have.

Within every problem there is a built-in solution...

Trouble = The Real Opportunity Unfolding Before Lucky Eyes.

Turn an adversity into a success by focusing on the opportunity it creates and not the problem it presents.

When you play the "what-if" game of negative scenarios, make it a rule you MUST also play the game of positive "what-if" possibilities. If you wonder "what if I fail?", make it a MUST that you also ask yourself "what if I succeed?"

When things go wrong or a problem arises, look at it as an opportunity to improve or make something better. Within every "down" situation there is an "up" side waiting to be found.

When you find yourself in one of those terrible down-and-out or depressed times, instead of thinking "life is terrible", say to yourself "these times are OPPORTUNITIES I've been given to gain valuable experience that no formal education could ever give me."

The darkest of times can provide the most light when seeking the truth or direction...

When troubles and difficult times come your way, think of it as a higher power giving you just what you need at that moment to build character, strength, and integrity.

The process or journey of finding a solution to a problem is often more valuable and rewarding than the answer...

The greatest obstacles in life we face are often the ones we create with our own minds.

From a distance a mountain may seem an impossible obstacle to overcome. From a distance you see only the outline of the mountain and very little detail. From a distance you may not know how you will get over this mountain... But you must proceed toward the mountain and have faith that you will find a way to get through. When you get close to the mountain, you discover its details...the winding pathways and its slope which will allow your passage...the answer becomes clear...

The more things you have going against you, the more potential power you have... The more things you have left to do in life, the more potential power you have... The more obstacles you have to overcome, the more potential power you have... Potential power is waiting for you to realize it. Go for it today, maximize your potential.

Fly high enough to overcome your obstacles, but low enough to keep in touch with the meaning of the journey...

When someone feels they have more problems than they can handle and they can't make it or they can't do something, it is because that person has under-valued and under-estimated the most important things they have in this world - their own capability and spirit...

Adversity is the teacher of courage and strength. Knowing that you have survived adversity in the past is proof that you will survive adversity in the future. Whatever the world throws at you, you can field it, survive it, and come out stronger!

The worst of times and the most of adversity can bring about the best of opportunities and the greatest successes...

Obstacles in life are tests of who we are. If we don't like the results of a test, we can change our actions and reactions so that the next test yields better results...life is full of these tests, so you will have many opportunities to improve what you do not like.

Strength is going through misery, the bad times, the trials of life and being able to keep the good things in sight and in mind. Strength is seeing through the dark times of the present to the bright possibilities of tomorrow. Strength is knowing that there will be sunshine after the storm has ended. Strength is endurance and patience...

An apparent great irony of life:
Most of us don't want nor like the "bad" or down times in life, but it is these times that make us think and grow the most. What we don't want is precisely what we need to make us better. Think of the down times as "gifts" from someone that is exactly what you need at the time to improve yourself...

Lost in a sea of confusion?
The difference between being lost in the sea of life and heading on a positive course is knowing where you are and where you are going. Knowing where you are requires you to see the reference points that are there. Knowing where you are going requires vision, dreams, and goals. Your position at sea can be the same in either the lost at sea or the positive course scenario. The important difference is knowing where you are headed.

When there is disagreement or a differing of ideas or opinions, there is a better chance of someone arriving at the right decision...

As a general rule, the more difficult the decision, the greater there is to be gained from making that decision...

The crisis and problem of today helps build the foundation of tomorrow. Each problem someone encounters is an opportunity to expand their knowledge base and experience...

In your quest for your dreams or goals, proceed forward regardless of the obstacles you see ahead. When you get close to one of those obstacles, such as a mountain, the details of how to overcome that obstacle will become clear if you look hard enough... when the time is right, the path will become clear...

Tough times are like physical exercise...you may not like it while you are doing it, but tomorrow you will be stronger because of it...

When we are overwhelmed and our minds tell us we are defeated or that we can't succeed, the human spirit is there to rise above our self-imposed limitations and say yes, we will succeed...

Learning from your history is one way of insuring that you will not repeat the mistakes of your past. Just as the negative things in this world's history does not take away from the good there is, the negative things in your history does not take away from the good or the potential for good in you...

It is often the bad things that happen that make the good things happen...
